No, and this is a difficult one for us to articulate without giving the game away. We very much want these to be blind boxes, a gift from you to future you, like unboxing a surprise at Christmas.

But we will say this, if something doesn’t excite or intrigue us, it’s not going in a box. Think single casks, limited release, interesting cask finishes, interesting alternative spirits, cask samples. For those that know us, will know our passions and those that don’t, we will have early incentives to hopefully entice you until we can build a library of previous months to showcase.

No. There are fantastic whiskey clubs and subscription services that can help you if that is what you would like, but here at DOTM we will supply your monthly tasting box with all the information you need for every sample. A great way to help brands out is by visiting their own websites and social media platforms to become engaged with a brand or bottle you fall in love with.

We are lovers of flavour. If we didn’t think the whiskey or spirits met the mark, they would never make it into our tasting boxes. Our metric is simple: if we personally wouldn’t happily drink a bottle, we certainly wouldn’t be happy to add it to a tasting box. No supermarket bottles will ever be harmed in the history of Dram Of The Month.
